The Oranges & this Jello Salad & the Thanksgiving Holiday Colors, Just all go so great together.

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg
    3 oz jello orange flavor
  • 2 C
    boiling water
  • 2 C
    orange sherbert
  • 1 can(s)
    large 15oz, drained, mandarin oranges
  • 1 Lg can(s)
    crushed pineapple, drained and reserve juice
  • 2 lg large
    sliced bananas
  • WHIPPED CREAM TOPPING:

  • 1 C
    pineapple juice (reserved)
  • 1/2 C
    sgr
  • 2 Tbs
    flour
  • 1
    egg beaten
  • 1 C
    heavy whipping cream

How to Make "Delight With Mandarin Oranges"

Step-by-Step

  1. Dissolve;Jello in the Boiling water.
    Add Sherbert, allow to melt.
  2. place in a 9X13 Pyrex dish Slice Bananas. Mandarin Oranges, Drained pineapple. spread evenly.
  3. Pour Jello Mixture over fruits.
    Refrigerate till set several Hrs. Then add topping.
  4. TOPPING:
    Whisk all 1st 4 ingredients, except the Cream togeher, in a med. Saucepan, over medium Heat, Stirr till thickened.
    Cool Completely.
  5. Whip the Heavy Cream till Peaks,
    Fold into the Cooled Topping.
    Spread on top of Jello. Keep chilled in Refer till ready to serve.
    Top with a sprinkle of Nuts or Mandarin oranges.
    Enjoy. A refreshing light Fruit salad.
    Or, Just could be a pleasant Dessert.
