I aquired this little gem from southernfood.about.com The past two years this is has been a must for my Christmas parties and potlucks. My 4 year old loves this so much she got upset when I took it to a church party and she didn't get to have any.

Ingredients
- 1 package 6 oz cherry flavored gelatin
- 2 cups hot water
- 1 pound can whole cranberry sauce
- 1 pound can jellied cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (if desired)
How To Make cranberry salad

Step 1Disolve gelatin in water. Add cranberry sauces and lemon juice. Pour into a lightly oiled cake pan. Chill till firm.

Step 2Blend together softened cream cheese, whipped cream and nuts. Spread on top of gelatin. Refrigerate overnight or for several hours before serving.

Step 3Use colorful sugar sprinkles to dress up for holidays.
