My maternal grandmother, Emma Ruth (Carroll, Tipton) Waits, learned this recipe from an 'Extension' agent, in the 1960's, & a 'family tradition' was born... We have spread it far & wide w/ our marriages, & sharing' w/ friends... guess i'll spread it a bit further... So delicious, & the most beautiful pink...! one more note... personal contribution to this recipe has been..... stabilized whipped cream. i do this so that the 'next day' , it doesn't separate into a gloppy mess... still looks good! i use either a product, called 'whip-it' or gelatin got recipe for gelatin from Wilton...

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh cranberries
- 1 pint miniature marshmallows
- 1 pint whipping cream
- 1 can 15 oz. cruushed pineapple, packed in it's own juice
How To Make cranberry salad

Step 1Day 1: wash & pick over, cranberries. Grind cranberries, & add 1 c. sugar. mix, & chill.

Step 2Day 2:Mix undrained pineapple w/ marshmallows. Chill

Step 3Day 3: Prepare whipped cream. Fold all 3 steps together, till blended. Chill.
