Cottage Cheese Fruit Salad

Some members of my family aren't big cottage cheese eaters but I happen to love it. I know this is a common recipe, but given I can get my family to eat it, and my daughters to waste no time to emptying the bowl, I thought I would post it. My Mama made this back when I was in high school and we just always loved it.

Ingredients

  • 1 large
    container cool whip, not the huge one but the one right under
  • 1 large
    container cottage cheese, the largest one they sell
  • 1 box
    4 oz. jello, i used tropical fusion in this picture
  • 1 large
    can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 small
    can mandarin oranges, drained

How to Make Cottage Cheese Fruit Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix everything together and allow to chill in refrigerator for atleast an hour before serving.
  2. You can use any flavor of jello that you choose, experiment!
