This is my grandmothers special fruit salad, she has made this every Christmas as long as I can remember. It is the secret sauce that makes the fruit salad so good and keeps the fruit from turning bad. Sounds gross, but try it it is really delightful!
1Cut and chop up fruit, add marshmellows, pecans and cherries. In small sauce pan melt oleo or butter stick, add sugar and stir until dissolved, add white vinegar and stir, remove from heat and add in 1 egg. Pour over all fruit, stir until all is well coated and then cover in fresh whipped cream. Store in frig to stay fresh
