This is another delicious and satisfying gelatin salad that is sure to please..not too sweet. I am making this again this weekend, for Sunday dinner..Yum!

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    water, divided
  • 1 pkg
    (3 ounces) cherry gelatin
  • 1 can(s)
    (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
  • 1 pkg
    (3 ounces) lemon gelatin
  • 1 pkg
    (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 can(s)
    (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 c
    miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 c
    heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped pecans or walnuts

How to Make Cherry Gelatin Supreme

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large saucepan, bring 1 cup water to a boil. Stir in cherry gelatin until dissolved. Stir in pie filling. Pour into an 11-in. x 7-in. dish. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
  2. In a small saucepan, bring remaining water to a boil. Stir in lemon gelatin until dissolved.
  3. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. Beat in lemon gelatin and pineapple. Cover and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
  4. Fold in the marshmallows and whipped cream. Spoon over cherry layer; sprinkle with nuts. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
