my mother made this for us when we were kids( 6 of us) about 45 years ago. she called it cherries in the Snow. she took it to many church potlucks. It was good and we ate it up!

Ingredients
- 1 large box of cherry jello(can use sugar free also)
- 1 medium container of cool whip
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- - chopped nuts(optional)
How To Make cherries in the snow

Step 1Prepare Jello according to package directions. Let Jello set up and gel then spread can of pie filling on top of jello then spread container of cool whip on top of pie filling. Garnish with chopped nuts if desired.
