This is one of those recipes that doesn't quite know what it is. It could be a side dish, it also could be a dessert. It definitely is delicious.

Ingredients

BOTTOM LAYER

2 pkg
black cherry jello, 3-oz size
2 c
boiling water
1 can(s)
blueberries, 15-1/2 ounce, drained (not pie filling) save the juice
1 can(s)
crushed pineapple, 15-1/2 oz, drained, save the juice
1 c
combined blueberry and pineapple juices

TOPPING

8 oz
cream cheese, softened
1 c
sour cream
1/2 c
sugar
1/2 tsp
vanilla

How to Make Blueberry Jello Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Dissolve jello in boiling water. Stir in the fruits and the fruit juices. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Put in fridge and chill until firm.
  • 2Cream together all topping ingredients. Mix until there are no lumps. Spread over firm jello layer. Return to fridge until topping firms up some. Serve in slices.
