This is more of a dessert than a salad really, but so delicious! If you like the taste of a banana split you will love this awesome summer salad!

Ingredients

  • 1 box (3.4 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple (do not drain)
  • 1 - (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans + 2 tbsp. for garnish
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips + 2 tbsp. for garnish
  • 2 - ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 jar (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained and halved

How To Make banana split salad

  • Step 1
    Stir together the pudding mix and pineapple until dissolved and thickened. Fold in the Cool Whip.
  • Step 2
    Gently stir in the marshmallows, nuts, chocolate chips, bananas, and cherries.
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate at least 4 hours to chill.
