It is cold out and it make me think of winter. A friend gave this to me.So enjoy this salad as it may be your last one before we think of warm soups.

Ingredients
- 1-------20 ounce pineapple, crushed with juice
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 package lemon gelatin
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup apples diced and unpeeled
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 bunch lettuce leaves
How To Make autumn apple salad

Step 1In saucepan, combine pineapple and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for three minutes. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Add cream cheese, Stir until combined, cool. Fold in apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping. Pour into 9 inch square baking pan, chill until firm. Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
