aunt maxine's cranberry salad
Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E. (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by my Great Aunt Maxine Branam.

Ingredients
- 1 package fresh cranberries, chopped in grinder or blender
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 pint whipping cream
- 1 small pkg miniature marshmallows
- 1s small can (8 oz size) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 to 1 cups chopped pecans
How To Make aunt maxine's cranberry salad

Step 1Add sugar to cranberries; let sit 2 hours in refrigerator.

Step 2Whip cream; mix in marshmallows. Let sit 2 hours in refrigerator.

Step 3Mix cranberries and whipped cream mixture together. Add pineapple and nuts. Refrigerate.
