Aunt Essie's Frozen Fruit Salad

Renée G.

Aunt Essie was my grandmother's sister and prided herself on being the most accomplished and up-to-the-minute cook in all the county, at least in her eyes, anyway. She brought this to serve at an afternoon garden club meeting that my mom was hostessing one time.

After that, my mom made it sometimes and would occasionally vary the fruit as well as the garnish. I hope you try it and experiment to make it your own.

NOTE: Prep time does not include time for the syrup to cool or the freezer time.
