ambrosia salad
Quick, light and easy. Great as a side dish, or dessert, at your next cookout. My sister made this all the time when we were growing up. I haven't had it in years, but got a craving, so I made a batch.

Ingredients
- 1 can 20 oz, pineapple chunks
- 1 can 11 oz, mandarin orange segments
- 1 - banana, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups seedless grapes
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup sour cream, or plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
How To Make ambrosia salad

Step 1Drain pineapple and orange segments. In large bowl, combine pineapple, mandarin oranges, banana, grapes, marshmallows, coconut and pecans. In 1-quart bowl, combine sour cream and brown sugar. Stir into fruit mixture. Refrigerate, covered, 1 hour or overnight.
