Everyone in my family loves this chicken salad recipe with its sweet and salty flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 - chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 2 cans Underwood 'Red Devil' Chicken spread
  • 1/2 cup chopped Walnuts
  • 4-6 tablespoons mayonnaise, light
  • 1/2 cup Red, seedless grapes chopped
  • 2 stalks - celery chopped small
  • 1/4 cup chopped sweet red onion
  • dash salt & pepper to taste

How To Make savory chicken salad

  • Step 1
    Place chicken breasts in a 2-quart pan, cover with water and boil until done. Remove from heat and let cool. Once cool chop into small chunks.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, add chopped chicken breasts, both cans of Chicken spread, grapes, celery, onion and walnuts
  • Step 3
    Add mayonnaise [4 to 6] tablespoons until desired 'spread-ability' is reached [salad will be chunky]. Add salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step 4
    Cover bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve with crackers or on favorite bread.
