Ingredients

  • ·
    one pound loaf white bread, unsliced, crust removed
  • ·
    butter, softened
  • ·
    chicken salad
  • ·
    egg salad
  • ·
    1 8oz. cream cheese, slightly softened
  • ·
    cream, for thinning
  • ·
    paprika
  • ·
    parsley, finely chopped

How to Make RIBBON SANDWICH

Step-by-Step

  1. Slice loaf lengthwise into three equal slices. Butter tops of all slices.
  2. Spread finely minced chicken salad on first slice. Spread egg salad on second slice. Stack on the first bread slice.
  3. Turn third slice buttered side down; place on egg salad layer.
  4. Thin cream cheese with cream to spreading consistancy. Cover entire loaf with cream cheese.
  5. Sprinkle very lightly with paprika for color; garnish with parsley.
  6. Refrigerate until time to serve.
