I just published my first cookbook. It contains 335 recipes that I have personally tested. I have been totally overwhelmed by the public's reaction to my book. I just ordered my 3rd printing at 700 per order. I was recently invited to appear on TV to promote my book and prepare one of my favorite recipes. This is the one that I chose. This is one of the first things that I can cross off my "Bucket List"

Ingredients

  • 1 package coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 package (8oz) fresh mushroons, sliced
  • 2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 2 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked & cubed
  • 2 cups red grapes, cut in 1/2
  • 1/2 cup salted sunflower seeds
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

How To Make oriental chicken slaw

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and soy sauce; set aside. Just before serving mix remaining ingredients. Toss with mayonnaise mixture and chow mein noodles.
