italian chicken salad
We have always eaten a basic chicken salad. That's what we like. I thought, what can I do to boost flavor without adding too many ingredients? I love Italian seasoning & garlic, so I baked it off in the oven to perfect doneness, so the chicken was still moist. Loved this on crackers too! Simple idea, but super flavor!

Ingredients
- 2 - chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 stalks celery, diced small
- 1 medium sweet onion, diced small
- 3/4-1 cup hellmans mayo
How To Make italian chicken salad

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Pound out thick part of chicken to same thickness as the smaller end for even cooking.

Step 3Season both sides of chicken . Put in a foil lined baking dish & bake for 25-30 minutes until done. Allow to cool, before cutting into small cubes.

Step 4In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients well. Refrigerate until well chilled. Serve your favorite way. Enjoy!
