Everytime I make this I get requests for the recipe. It is a wonderful salad for a wedding shower.

  • 2 c
    cooked chicken, chopped or cubed
  • 1 c
    honeydew melon, cubed
  • 1 c
    cantaloupe, balls
  • 1/2 c
    celery, sliced
  • 1/3 c
    cashews, whole, salted
  • 1/4 c
    green onion, chopped

  • 1/2 c
    yogurt, plain
  • 6 Tbsp
  • 3 Tbsp
    lime juice

How to Make Gwynne's Chicken Salad


  1. Combine chicken, honeydew, cantaloupe, celery, cashews and green onion in medium bowl.
  2. Stir together yogurt, mayonnaise and lime juice. Pour over chicken ingredients and toss gently to coat.
