Ingredients
- 4 - chicken breasts, halved, boneless, skinless, cooked and diced
- 8 ounces water chestnuts, drained and sliced
- 3 - green onions, chopped with tops
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds, lightly toasted
- 1/3 cup almonds, toasted and slivered
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 3 ounces chow mein noodles
- 1 - head iceburg lettuce torn
- DRESSING INGREDIENTS
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup salad oil
How To Make chicken salad asian style

Step 1In large bowl, mix together chicken, water chestnuts, green onions, sesame seeds, almonds and poppy seeds.

Step 2Pour dressing over chicken mixture; toss gently to mix well. Refrigerate salad until chilled, about 2 hours.

Step 3At serving time, mix chicken mixture with noodles and lettuce.
