1/4 c
sesame seeds, lightly toasted
12 oz
gluten free rotini pasta
1/2 c
vegetable oil
1/3 c
gluten free soy sauce or tamari
1/3 c
seasoned rice vinegar
1 tsp
sesame oil
1 tsp
chili oil
1/4 c
mirin (sweetened sake)
1/8 tsp
garlic powder
1/8 c
finely chopped onion
3 c
chicken breast, cooked and shredded
3/4 c
finely chopped or shredded carrot

How to Make Asian Chicken Pasta Salad


  • 1Boil gluten free pasta (I recommend Schar's) in lightly salted water according to manufacturer directions. Drain and rinse with cold water. Transfer to large bowl.
  • 2While pasta is cooking, combine vegetable oil, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, mirin, chili oil and garlic powder. Shake or whisk until blended.
  • 3Add shredded chicken, chopped onion, chopped carrot and toasted sesame seeds to pasta in bowl. Toss lightly. Pour marinade over and gently combine.
  • 4Chill one hour or more until ready to serve.
