Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped fine
  • 1/2 - of a head of lettuce, chopped
  • 1 package low-fat shredded cheese
  • 1/3 cup sweet salad dressing (such as vidalia, french, or catalina dressing)
  • 1 small can of drained black, sliced olives, optional

How To Make taco salad

  • Step 1
    Cook ground beef until browned and add taco seasoning and water, cook another 10 minutes and cool.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, add 2 tomatoes, chopped fine the lettuce, the shredded cheese and the sweet salad dressing.
  • Step 3
    Mix all together and serve. Add sliced olives on the top for a garnish if desired.
