This is an easy taco salad.

Stove Top


  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1
    head lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
  • 3
    tomatoes, chopped
  • 15 oz
    kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 16 oz
    tortilla chips, broken into bite-size pieces
  • 8 oz
    taco sauce
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • ·
    green onions, sliced
  • 1
    avocado, cubed

How to Make Taco Salad


  1. Brown the beef with the onion; drain. Then add the taco seasoning.
  2. On serving plates add a mound of lettuce. Top with meat mixture, then a layer of kidney beans, tomato, tortilla chips, sour cream, avocado, cheese, green onion and top off with taco sauce.
