This is an easy taco salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 - head lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
  • 3 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 15 ounces kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 16 ounces tortilla chips, broken into bite-size pieces
  • 8 ounces taco sauce
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • - green onions, sliced
  • 1 - avocado, cubed

How To Make taco salad

  • Step 1
    Brown the beef with the onion; drain. Then add the taco seasoning.
  • Step 2
    On serving plates add a mound of lettuce. Top with meat mixture, then a layer of kidney beans, tomato, tortilla chips, sour cream, avocado, cheese, green onion and top off with taco sauce.
