After eating prime rib for three days, there was one big slice left. I make salad out of leftover chicken turkey and ham, so I figured, why not beef.

Ingredients For red, white and blue steak salad

  • 1 c
    diced steak, trimmed of all fat
  • 2 Tbsp
    crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely diced celery
  • 2 Tbsp
    diced red onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    smoked horseradish sauce or horseradish
  • 1/3 c
    mayonaisse
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make red, white and blue steak salad

    Mix mayonaisse and horseradish sauce. Add all other ingredients and mix until well blended.

    Other add-ins could include diced pickles, bacon, tomatoes or whatever else would appeal to you.
