mesclun black and blue salad
My favorite farmers' market vendor had his version of mesclun for sale - a mixture of spring lettuces, mustard, and arugula. Added the rest of the stuff that was on hand. Rather than making vinaigrette from scratch, I just used lite Italian dressing. Suit yourself!

Ingredients
- 4-5 cups mesclun or mixed spring greens
- 5 ounces medium rare steak, sliced thinly
- 1 ounce blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 avocado, cubed
- 2 radishes, thinly sliced
- 1 small shallot, thinly sliced
- 2-3 tablespoons your favorite vinaigrette dressing
- croutons, optional
How To Make mesclun black and blue salad

Step 1Divide the greens between two plates. Scatter half the steak, cheese, avocado, radishes, and shallots on the greens.
