A basic recipe for Salisbury steak. Also great for grilling.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1/4 C. green peppers, minced
  • 1/4 C. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 C. milk
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 can mushroom soup

How To Make russ's salisbury steak

  • Step 1
    Thoroughly mix beef, 1/4 of soup mix, pepper, crumbs, milk and egg. Shape into 4 patties. Brown on both sides and drain off fat. Simmer over low heat with rest of ingredients for 20 minutes.
