Ingredients

2 c
cooked peas

MEDIUM WHITE SAUCE:

2 Tbsp
butter
2 Tbsp
flour
1 c
milk
1/4 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper

Step-By-Step

1For sauce: Melt butter and blend in flour until smooth. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly, until boiling point is reached.
Reduce heat and cook 3 minutes longer; add seasonings and blend.
Place lid over hot mixture and cover tightly to prevent film from forming until ready for use.
2Mix peas with white sauce, reheat, and serve.
