- 2 cups cooked peas
- MEDIUM WHITE SAUCE:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
How To Make russ's creamed peas

Step 1For sauce: Melt butter and blend in flour until smooth. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly, until boiling point is reached. Reduce heat and cook 3 minutes longer; add seasonings and blend. Place lid over hot mixture and cover tightly to prevent film from forming until ready for use.

Step 2Mix peas with white sauce, reheat, and serve.
