How to Make Russ's Cole Slaw (Freezer Cabbage)
- 1Chop or shred cabbage. Chop green pepper. Shred carrot and onion. Mix vegetables. In a large mixing bowl, sprinkle vegetables with salt and mix well. Cover with food wrap and set aside.
- 2In a medium pan, mix together sugar, vinegar, water, celery seed, and mustard seed. Boil mixture for one minute.
Set aside, let cool one hour.
- 3Mix syrup with vegetables
Place in containers (plastic freezer bag) and freeze.
