For the dough:

4 1/2 to 5 cups all-purpose unbleached flour
•
1 package active dry yeast
•
1 cup milk
•
1/3 cup butter
•
1/3 cup sugar
•
1/2 tsp. salt
•
3 eggs
•
For the filling:
•
1/2 cup golden raisins
•
3 Tbsp. spiced rum
•
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
•
1/4 cup all purpose flour
•
1 1/2 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
•
1/2 cup butter
•
1/3 cup chopped pecans
•
1 Tbsp. half and half or light cream
•
Rum frosting:
•
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
•
1 tsp. corn syrup
•
1/2 tsp. vanilla
•
1/2 tsp. spiced rum
•
2 Tbsp. half and half
•
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Whisk well.
