INGREDIENTS
2 medium butternut squash, cut in half lengthwise and seeds removed
Topping:
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans
For the casserole:
2 eggs
1/4 cup half-and-half (10%) cream
2 Tbsp. of real maple syrup (or sub 1 tsp. vanilla)
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 - 1 tsp. salt, or to taste
