Refried Black Beans

INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons avocado oil or refined coconut oil (or other neutral vegetable oil)
1/2 cup finely chopped white onion
2-3 medium garlic cloves (minced)
1 1/2-2 teaspoons kosher salt
3 cups cooked black beans (drained. Canned is fine.)
3/4 cup bean liquid or water (from the cans of black beans)
