3 tablespoons vegetable oil
8 ounces boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon sliced ginger root
6 small Asian dried red peppers*
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup thin-sliced carrots
1/2 cup thin-sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped red bell peppers
1/4 cup Chinese white cooking wine*
Brown Sauce and Garnish:
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce*
2 tablespoons oyster sauce*
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
3 drops Asian sesame oil*
2 T. dry-roasted unsalted peanuts
