1 1/2 cups steel-cut oats
1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin purée
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
4 cups water
2 cups whole milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
For serving: heavy cream, ground cinnamon, and additional maple syrup (optional)
