¾ cup sugar (or beet sugar)

3 teaspoons baking powder
•
1 teaspoon xanthum gum
•
½ teaspoon kosher salt
•
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
•
1/3 cup slivered almonds
•
4-5 large ripe figs cut in half
