1 (18.25 ounce) box Duncan Hines Signature Spice Cake
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup pure pumpkin puree
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
2 8-ounce packages of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup (4 ounces) unsalted butter, softened
1.5 pounds (about 5 3/4 cups) confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
