2 1/2 cups packed freshly roasted pumpkin ((see below for instructions - can also use canned if you like))
3/4 cups walnuts ((or any nuts you like))
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon maple syrup ((optional - leave out for Whole30))
