Pumpkin Dump Cake

15 ounces pumpkin puree (1 can)
12 ounces evaporated milk (1 can)
3 large eggs
3/4 cup light brown sugar (lightly packed)
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon salt
15.25 ounce dry yellow cake mix (we used Duncan Hines)
1 cup pecans (chopped)
1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
