1/4 cup sour cream (Greek yogurt may be substituted)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon butter extract, optional
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt, optional
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
For the Chocolate Ganache (microwave-friendly)
2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup cream or half-and-half
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
optionally add 1 to 2 tablespoons rum or bourbon, coffee liqueur, or chocolate-flavored liqueur
