1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon chipotle powder (, optional)
1 16- ounce can pumpkin ((1-3/4 cups))
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup bourbon ((may use substitute and extra 1/4 cup buttermilk OR 1/4 cup ginger ale))
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
3 large eggs
1/2 cup of unsalted butter (, melted and allowed to turn golden brown)
About 3 cups of confectioner's sugar (, or enough to make a thick glaze)
2 tablespoons Pumpkin Pie flavored syrup
1 tsp vanilla
Heavy cream as needed
