1 cup Apple Cider and/or Apple Juice

1 Onion, rough chopped

1/2 cup Fresh Water
•
1.5 teaspoons Kosher Salt or Smoked Salt
•
1 teaspoon Pepper
•
1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke (if not finishing on the grill)
•
Sea Salt or Smoked Sea Salt (if not finishing on the grill)

1 cup Barbecue Sauce
