1 tsp. minced garlic (we love us some garlic–so I increased this to about 1 tbsp.)

1/2 c. water
•
1 c. brown sugar
•
2-4 Tbsp. cornstarch
•
1/2 c. balsamic vinegar
•
1/2 c. water
•
4 Tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
