1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4 cups vegetable broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, plus extra for garnish
1 (4 oz) jar pimentos, drained and divided
