1 large onion, diced
1 jar (16 oz.) chunky style picante sauce, medium heat
1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 Tbsp. cumin seed
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. dried oregano
2 cups hot water
salt and pepper, to taste
1 fresh jalapeno
