For the cookies: 2 and 1/2 cups flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 cup butter 1 cup powdered sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract 1/2 tsp. vanilla For the icing: 2 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted 1/4 tsp peppermint extra
