1.5 lbs. Beef strips (In my grocery store I can get beef already in strips, packaged), or top sirloin cut into strips

1 green bell pepper, sliced thick
•
1 red bell pepper, sliced thick
•
1/2 white onion, sliced
•
1/2 cup water (divided see below)
•
2 beef bouillon cubes
•
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
•
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
•
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
•
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
•
1/4 tsp. black pepper
•
2 tsp. brown sugar
