INGREDIENTS

⅔ cup butter, room temperature

2 cups dark brown sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract
•
2 eggs
•
1 tsp baking powder
•
¼ tsp baking soda
•
Pinch salt
•
2 & ½ cups all-purpose flour

6 miniature pecan pie tartlets (found mine at Trader Joe's), or about ½ of a standard prepared pecan pie, chopped into bite-sized pieces
•
2 cups chopped pecans, divided

FOR FILLING:
•
2 Tbsp butter
•
2 eggs, lightly beaten
•
½ cup dark brown sugar
•
½ cup light corn syrup
•
1 tsp vanilla
