"Please use real maple syrup. NOT the pancake syrup.For best results use full-fat cream cheese.This pie can easily be made ahead of time. Make it the day before and leave in the fridge until ready to use. I actually preferred this pie more the day after it was made...."

INGREDIENTS
1 9-inch pie shell, baked and cooled
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup real maple syrup
1 cup finely chopped pecans + 1/2 cup roughly chopped pecans
