2 15 ounce cans sliced peaches in syrup, drained (keep 1/4 cup of peach juice)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
2 eggs
8 tablespoons or 1 stick or 1/2 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup peach juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup nut pieces (pecans or walnuts)
1 cup powdered sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons milk
