2 tablespoons sugar, agave, or honey

3-4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

2¼ teaspoons rapid rise, bread machine, or instant yeast

4 tablespoons butter

1 cup very finely shredded Parmesan cheese (fresh is best but you can use canned as well)
