1   cup parboiled (converted) rice
1/2  cup sliced green onion
6   skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1-1/2 pounds)
1   teaspoon dried Italian seasoning, crushed
1/2  teaspoon bottled minced garlic or 1 clove garlic, minced
1   tablespoon cooking oil
1   tablespoon cornstarch
2 1/4  cups milk
1  3  ounce package cream cheese, cut up
1 1/2  cups loose-pack frozen cut broccoli
1/2  cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3  cup diced fully cooked ham
2   tablespoons toasted sliced almonds
