"(adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});Omelet for one.Basic technique for making egg omelet.Very easy and simple.Ingredients2 large eggs2 teaspoons unsalted butter2-4 tablespoons omelet fillingsalt and freshly ground black pepperMethodStep 1Break the eggs into a small mixing bowl.(Note:if you are making 2 or more omelets, break 2 eggs into each of 2 or more bowls.Have a fork or forks ready for beating each as well as butter and omelet filling). Before you start cooking, beat the eggs, adding salt and freshly ground black pepper.Step 2Select a small,well-curried omelet pan or use a nonstick pan. Heat the pan and the butter.Step 3Swirl the pan around,to coat bottom and sides. Do this as rapidly as possible so the butter does not burn.Step 4Immediately add the batch of beaten eggs and cook quickly over moderately high heat, stirring rapidly with a fork holding the tines parallel to the bottom, tilt the pan to a slight angle and tap the bottom of the pan firmly against the stove burner. This makes the omelet slide about an inch away from the hand and handle. This should "curve" the omelet. Rapidly spoon the filling along the curved portion, holding the pan at an angle and, using the fork, folding the top of the omelet over to give the omelet a neat, oval shape. Turn the omelet, seam side down, onto warm plate.Step 5Serve immediately. You may garnish the top of the omelet with a spoonful or so of the filling.(adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});var addthis_config={"data_track_clickback":true,"ui_atversion":300,"ignore_server_config":true};var addthis_share={};var addthis_product="wpp-5.3.2";var wp_product_version="wpp-5.3.2";var wp_blog_version="4.5.2";var addthis_plugin_info={"info_status":"enabled","cms_name":"WordPress","cms_version":"4.5.2","plugin_name":"Share Buttons by AddThis","plugin_version":"5.3.2","anonymous_profile_id":"wp-b8f4209d5cf290b3e11b2d6b476b1aaa","plugin_mode":"WordPress","select_prefs":{"addthis_per_post_enabled":true,"addthis_above_enabled":true,"addthis_below_enabled":true,"addthis_sidebar_enabled":false,"addthis_mobile_toolbar_enabled":false,"addthis_above_showon_home":true,"addthis_above_showon_posts":true,"addthis_above_showon_pages":false,"addthis_above_showon_archives":false,"addthis_above_showon_categories":true,"addthis_above_showon_excerpts":false,"addthis_below_showon_home":false,"addthis_below_showon_posts":true,"addthis_below_showon_pages":false,"addthis_below_showon_archives":false,"addthis_below_showon_categories":false,"addthis_below_showon_excerpts":false,"addthis_sidebar_showon_home":true,"addthis_sidebar_showon_posts":true,"addthis_sidebar_showon_pages":true,"addthis_sidebar_showon_archives":true,"addthis_sidebar_showon_categories":true,"addthis_mobile_toolbar_showon_home":true,"addthis_mobile_toolbar_showon_posts":true,"addthis_mobile_toolbar_showon_pages":true,"addthis_mobile_toolbar_showon_archives":true,"addthis_mobile_toolbar_showon_categories":true,"sharing_enabled_on_post_via_metabox":true},"page_info":{"template":"posts","post_type":"recipe"}};if(typeof(addthis_config)=="undefined"){var addthis_config={"data_track_clickback":true,"ui_atversion":300,"ignore_server_config":true};} if(typeof(addthis_share)=="undefined"){var addthis_share={};} if(typeof(addthis_layers)=="undefined"){var addthis_layers={};}(function(){var at_interval=setInterval(function(){if(window.addthis){clearInterval(at_interval);addthis.layers(addthis_layers);}},1000)}());..."
